Strangers With Candy Star Says Only Losers Wear Fur
Comedian Amy Sedaris, star of the new Strangers With Candy movie based on the cult-hit Comedy Central show of the same name, appears again as “Jerri Blank” in PETA's “What Becomes a Loser Most?” anti-fur campaign, parodying Blackglama Mink's “What Becomes a Legend Most?” ads. Jerri is a 47-year-old high school freshman and self-proclaimed former boozer, user, and loser—and she's got something to say: “When you wear fur, people laugh at you, not with you.”
Check out the behind-the-scenes footage of the PETA photo shoot with Amy and photographer (and longtime PETA pal) Todd Oldham.
Every year, millions of cats, dogs, minks, rabbits, and other animals are killed for their fur. For every fur coat, collar, or cuff, animals are trapped, drowned, or beaten to death in the wild or gassed, strangled, or electrocuted on fur farms. Learn what you can do to keep animals from becoming "fashion victims."
