PETA's Class Act for Fashion Week
For years, the fur trade has conducted a program at Parsons School of Design, one of the world’s most prestigious fashion schools, in which students receive free fur to work with and a chance to take part in an industry-sponsored fashion show.

Cindy Crawford: Sell-Out
Cindy Crawford, who once posed for PETA’s Anti-Fur Campaign and signed a statement declaring that she would speak up for animals by refusing to wear fur, has gone back on her word. She will appear in ads for coats made out of animals’ stolen fur this fall.

PETA has issued a pardon to Martha Stewart and removed her from its annual “Worst-Dressed” list after she revealed on 20/20 that the fur scarf that she wore on the day of her conviction was fake.

“The Only Wildlife at Centro-Fly Is Human--No Fur Coats Allowed” declares red-hot singer P!nk on a poster promoting the cruelty-free dress code at the hip New York celebrity hangout. The singer, whose hits include “Get the Party Started” and “Don’t Let Me Get Me,” is tickled … well … pink at Centro-Fly’s no-fur policy and happily donated her time to sing the praises of a cause she believes in.

Persia White: “The Gloves Are Off!”
In a stunning bid to show consumers that behind every fur coat, collar, or cuff was a living animal who was trapped, drowned, or beaten to death in the wild or gassed, strangled, or electrocuted on a fur farm, actor Persia White holds the bloody body of a skinned fox in a graphic new ad for PETA titled, “Here’s the Rest of Your Fur Coat.”
